About Us

Alpha Pack K9 was founded in 2019 by T.J. and Jennifer Dobbins. T.J. spent 15 years as an Ohio State Trooper. As a Trooper T.J. was a K9 handler and eventually became a K9 Trainer with the Highway Patrol. T.J. decided to leave the Highway Patrol in 2020 to run Alpha Pack K9 full time. Jen left her job as a full-time nurse in late 2020 to assist in running the business.  With the assistance of rescues and non-profits Alpha Pack K9 has rescued over 400 Malinois and Dutch Shepherds. Currently the Fur Missile Foundation is the only non-profit Alpha Pack K9 is associated with which provides rescued Malinois and Dutch Shepherds to Police Departments at no cost. In 2020 T.J. competed on the television show A&E Americas Top Dog with K9 Kado. They won their episode and continued to the finale to finish second overall.
